1. What kind of Products is Ikigai compared to?

Ikigai encompasses many technologies under one roof. If you are only doing financial close for example, it may be compared to Blackline. If you are only building dashboards, some may view Ikigai as a competitor to Tableau or PowerBI. Ikigai uses RPA, Data joining, data cleansing, process automation, data visualization, machine learning and AI in one coherent process.

2. What kind of machine learning is under the hood?

Ikigai uses robust machine learning libraries that are used in organizations such as Amazon and Facebook for things like time series forecasting.

3. How does automation work?

Automation in Ikigai is very simple. Once you have completed building the logic to your flow, you simply hit the “schedule” button in Ikigai and begin deciding how frequently you want your business logic to update. Its similar to setting an alarm on your cell phone.

4. What type of processes are built with Ikigai?

If you think of any process done excel, with SQL, or with Python, all processes of transforming, cleaning, joining, and running analytics on data can be performed with Ikigai. A few examples are demand forecasting, inventory reporting, financial reconciliation, or replacing VLookups and Pivot Tables. Ikigai is applicable to many different industries from financial services, to manufacturing, to CPG and many others.

5. How does this fit within my architecture?

Ikigai is a SaaS application that is architected on AWS. Generally it will play well with any architecture such as data warehouses, visualization tools, data lakes, cloud systems, etc. Ikigai generally will fit in the middle of existing architecture or downstream of data repositories. 6. What if I want an on prem deployment?

At the moment Ikigai can be deployed as a dockerized image in your private cloud. For a fully on prem deployment you can contact sales in the form below and let us know the nature of your needs and we can discuss it more in depth with our technical team to ensure its feasibility.

7. Is there a limit to rows or data size I can push through Ikigai?

As mentioned above, Ikigai is architected on AWS and scales elastically with usage. There is not necessarily a limit on rows. Performance such as speed may be impacted when using Terabytes or Petabytes of data, however. Though we are actively implementing Ray architecture to ensure scalability of processes even when pushing this quantity of data through

2. What if my system isn’t listed on the Ikigai connector page?

Our connectors page has “out of the box” connectors we’ve already built, and we’re always adding more. If your connector is not listed, we can actually connect it using either RPA screen scraping or we can build you a connector for your system. We’re happy to collaborate with customers to build new connectors that will help us better serve others in the same industry. Please reach out to us and we can discuss a new connector together.

3. What tools does Ikigai play well with?

We play well with virtually everything. The types of systems we usually play with are ERPs, CRMs, cloud data warehouses, flat files, monitoring tools, visualization tools, and other systems that are usually critical to businesses. Architecturally we have designed Ikigai to be able to fit into virtually any existing environment and provide analytics and other data operations where the business deems necessary.

4. How does Ikigai support myself or my team if we decide to implement it?

While going through a process with us there are 3 major phases.

1. Phase I – Discovery, Demo, & Success Planning

Before you ever sign a contract we want to map out a desired end state and ensure it aligns with everyone’s objectives in the organization as well as your existing tech stack. We then will collaborate to help you determine what success means and following a demo ensure you feel confident Ikigai can deliver your solution.

2. Phase II – Productionizing your Solution & Training

Ikigai will lead the development and the “go live” stage of your solution as well as help you iterate on it. Whether you’re forecasting demand in your supply chain, performing reconciliations for your AR or AP, or automating tedious excel work, Ikigai will help stand this solution up and train you and your team on how to execute & iterate off of this initial process.

3. Phase III – Scaling Ikigai to meet Enterprise needs
  • As you and your team grow more comfortable leveraging Ikigai, we’ll map out other areas of the organization that you can deploy Ikigai’s human in the loop automation to capture more value and automate more processes with robust analytics and machine learning capabilities.
