We Have Joined Celonis

When we founded Ikigai, we had a clear vision: that decision intelligence would become fundamental to how enterprises operate in an AI-first world.

We spent many years building toward that vision. And today, Vinayak and I are proud to share with you that Ikigai has agreed to be acquired by Celonis.

Celonis shares our belief in what Enterprise AI needs to deliver - not just faster automation, but accurate, reliable decision-making and action grounded in a deep, real-time understanding of how businesses actually work. Alex, Basti, Martin and Carsten have spent more than 15 years building exactly that foundation for the world's largest and most valuable companies. By joining Celonis and bringing our entire team into an organization operating at that scale, we will dramatically accelerate that vision.

Ikigai's decision intelligence, simulation, and forecasting capabilities will become part of the Celonis Platform, and specifically the Celonis Context Model (also announced today) - a unified layer that gives Enterprise AI not just operational awareness, but the ability to look forward: to model what will happen, stress-test decisions before they're made, and act with a level of foresight that most organizations can only aspire to today.

For our customers, this means the work we've done together continues - and gets significantly more powerful. For the broader market, it means the missing layer of the Enterprise AI stack just got a lot more complete.

I'm joining Celonis as Chief Scientist, Enterprise AI, and Vinayak will join as Field CTO. The entire Ikigai team is eager to deliver the next generation of Enterprise AI as part of the Celonis team.
